v
The reverence on and of God is the beginning of knowledge
and wisdom; that God desires everyone to learn, grow, mature, multiply and be like Jesus Christ.
v The Scripture is the basis of curricular and co-curricular foundations; a guide for the
pieces of life; the standard for right living (Is. 49:22; Jer. 51:27).
am afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor explaining the Holy
Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of the youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign
paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt. For the
heart of corruption is the corruption of the heart.”
- Martin Luther
v
The Learner as a whole being [body (physical & material), soul (mental, emotional,
moral, social, character and attitude) and spirit (will, conscience)], embodying
a past and a future interacting in the present as the fulcrum for change and growth; the learner as the apex of creation has
to mature in favor with God and men; and be like Christ.
v Learning is learning how to learn; thinking how to think and adopt; learning is following; it
is obedience; its objective is correct application (Ecl. 12:11); it is achievement of goals (3 Jn. 2).
v
The Teacher is a model, motivator, inspiration, change facilitator;
Christ the supreme model; the Holy Spirit illuminates, convicts, empowers.
v
The School as a community of God’s images, his people,
a community of learners, inspirers and leaders who are caring, nurturing and sharing.
